Our portfolio company Drophop Oy has developed the DropSweets chromium spray, which balances blood sugar more effectively than chromium tablets. The supplement is absorbed directly into the bloodstream through the oral mucosa. Stable blood sugar levels facilitate weight management, as sugar cravings are the clearest indicator of blood sugar fluctuations.
From e-commerce to pharmacy distribution
Manufactured in an FSSC 22000-certified facility in Finland, DropSweets entered the market in August 2025. Until now, the chromium spray has been sold exclusively through the company’s own online store. While the company aims for the global market, capturing the domestic market through e-commerce alone has proven challenging.
The Tampere-based health and wellness company Fysioline Oy recognized, much like the investors, the product’s potential and was ready to sign a long-term partnership agreement with Drophop Oy.
“Through its own products, Fysioline has 20 years of experience in pharmacy distribution and marketing. This is the best possible partnership for a young startup. Our company can now focus on launching exports and our third investment round at the Slush event” , notes Teija Vörlin, founder of Drophop Oy.

In addition to pharmacological expertise and research-based evidence, Drophop Oy has invested in user-centric technology. The Drop Sugar Habit mobile application, developed by healthcare professionals, guides users in overcoming sugar cravings and addiction. The company currently has patents pending for both its chromium formulation and the unique supplement-app solution—the first of its kind on the market.
