We are serving as a partner for the ‘Tuottava idea’ (Productive Idea) competition organized by the Junior Chamber International Finland in 2025.
The aim of the competition is to promote innovation and highlight new business ideas and their importance as key drivers of social development. The competition also aims to raise the profile and importance of entrepreneurship in Finland.
In previous years, the competition has been successfully participated in by, among others, our portfolio companies Dermeco Oy and DiabetesSara Oy.
Throughout its history, the competition has successfully highlighted future success stories. Over the years, winners have included companies such as Polar Electro Oy, Ponsse Oyj, Genelec Oy, and Oura Health Oy.
In the 1990s, the winners in the societal category included innovations that are now part of our everyday life, such as Tampere’s low-floor buses and the non-aligned unemployment fund, known as the Loimaa Fund and today operating as the General Unemployment Fund.
In the 2000s, awards were given to, among others, Blancco for its hard drive erasure system and Left Foot Company for its new concept of customized shoes.
In the 2010s, the competition gained international visibility through companies such as Vincit Oy with its smart glasses developed for parking inspectors and Naava Oy with its green wall.
The success stories of the future are being built today. The Tuottava Idea competition aims to play its part in building a successful and thriving Finland.
