Our new portfolio company, RCS Finland Oy, is launching a Finnish food innovation: RyeJoy, a confectionery product that combines Finnish rye with healthy snacking. The product will be available for tasting for the first time in March at events and selected retail outlets, with a wider retail launch scheduled for May Day.

The new generation rye confection, RyeJoy, is ready to conquer the market both in Finland and internationally. This innovative product combines the strong tradition of Finnish rye with a modern taste profile, meeting the growing demand for healthier snacking alternatives.
The company’s production capacity is built to international standards, and the products hold IFS certification, demonstrating high quality and food safety. Internationalization has been at the core from the very beginning: export negotiations are underway, not only in Finland but also in Switzerland, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates.
A new kind of treat was born in a hospital
The story of RyeJoy began in a hospital, where the founders met while recovering from surgery. Their conversations sparked the idea for a new kind of treat that would combine Finnish rye with responsible snacking. The concept evolved into a new product category: rye candy.
